Czytelnia zinowa – wielkie otwarcie!

zapraszamy na otwarcie czytelni zinowej, które odbędzie się w ramach konwetnu zinowego w sobotę 29.11.2008.

Czytelnia będzie mieścić się w Ufie, na ul. Marszałkowskiej 3/5, I piętro

Zbieramy wszelka prasę udergroundową, a w szczególności ziny queer, feministyczne i robione przez dziewczyny. Do tej pory namiastka biblioteki zinowej Emancypunx znajdowała się w Osce. Nowa czytelnia jest duzo wieksza i uzupelniona o zbiory revenge of the nerds.

Celem archiwum jest zachowanie i udokumentowanie szerokiej twórczości zinowej. Przy archiwum działać będzie czytelnia zinowa. W szczególności zbieramy ziny robione przez kobiety lub o tematyce kobiecej, feministycznej, queer. W archiwum znajdują się zbiory Emancypunx oraz Revenge of the Nerds.

Der Kaskadenkondensator, Visarte und der ausstellungsraum Klingental laden den Künstler San Keller ein, die Arbeit Blaumachen vorzustellen und zusammen mit KennerInnen über
die Lebens- und Arbeitssituation der KünstlerInnen in der Schweiz zu sprechen. Bei seiner Aktion fordert San Keller KünstlerInnen dazu auf, für einen Tag die Arbeit niederzulegen.

Die KAP ist eine im Kunstraum Lodypop bereits 11 mal erschienene Kopierschrift und sammelt jeweils von KünstlerInnen produzierte A3 Beiträge in einem schwarz weiss kopierten und
zu A4 gefalteten Heft. So können die Beiträge einzeln wie ein Poster herausgenommen werden oder kommen in der Reihenfolge der Faltung als A4 Seiten mit anderen Beiträgen neu

…”Seksmisja – Kopernik był kobietą!”

Zawsze chciałaś/chciałeś zrobic ambitny queerowy i feministyczny film? Na dodatek tworzyć go kolektywnie, pięknymi metodami DIY?

Oto wreszcie nastała taka możliwość! Przez cały tydzień spotykamy sie, by razem nakręcić film. Wszyscy mogą robic wszystko. Chcesz być aktywna/aktywny za kulisami? Zawsze chciałeś/chciałaś się spełnic w roli divy, błyszczącej przed kamera?

Nasz plan: zdekonstruować kultowy film “Seksmisja”! Czyli: sfilmować go na nowo, pociąć, zagrać inaczej, by odnaleźć i wydobyć jego queerowy potencjał.

Terminy do ustalenia!
I. 19.03, środa, 19.30, UFA: oglądamy razem film “Seksmisja” i zbieramy pierwsze pomysły do storybordu. Wymyślamy kostiumy, zastanawiamy sie nad miejscami, w ktorych mozna by kręcić, i ustalamy terminy!

II. Spisujemy naszą historię oraz przygotowujemy storybord.

III. Po świętach: filmowanie!
Spotykamy się w UFIE. Przychodźcie w dragu lub w waszych ulubionych przebraniach, przynieście dla siebie kanapki i co tam jeszcze potrzebujecie. Oczywiście przebierac mozna sie też na miejscu… miasto przejmiemy poźniej.

IV. Zapraszamy wszystkich, którzy maja ochotę uczestniczyć w montażu filmu lub pracować nad efektami specjalnymi, przygotować muzykę, etc.

V. PREMIERA: 2.05, podczas Nocy Walpurgii!

WIR SIND WOANDERS – 22-24 października 2007, Hamburg
“Europe Supports Artists” – projekt w ramach Wir Sind Woanders 2 – European Art Festiwal w Hamburgu
Jesteśmy (Marta, Jenny i Furja) w Hamburgu na warsztatach dla artystek z Niemiec, Szkocji i Polski, które zorganizował niemiecki oddział organizacji parasolowej Bildwechsel, zajmującej się wspieraniem i archiwizowaniem sztuki kobiecej. 25 października odbywa się prezentacja wyniku warsztatów (w formie instalacji multimedialnej).
Jednym z głównych tematów projektu ESA są alternatywne społeczne i ekonomiczne systemy wspierania sztuki kobiet.
Celami projektu są m.in. przygotowanie “Przewodnika dla artystek-turystek w potrzebie”, w którym znajdzie się opis udogodnień (finansowych i innych), z jakich mogą korzystać artystki w poszczególnych krajach, oraz stworzenie strony internetowej, na której będą gromadzone informacje o sytuacji artystek w poszczególnych krajach, o warunkach odwiedzin, życia i pracy w różnych państwach, o istniejących systemach wsparcia, a także próby odpowiedzi na pytanie, co to znaczy być artystką w danym kraju.
Od 15 września 2007 prowadziłyśmy wywiady z polskimi artystkami, kuratorami i kuratorkami państwowych i prywatnych galerii sztuki (muzeów) oraz przedstawicielami wyższych uczelni artystycznych i państwowych organów wspierania sztuki (m.in. z Dorotą Nieznalską, Joanną Rajkowską, Leonem Tarasewiczem, Agnieszką Optułowicz, Anną Okrasko, Izą Kowalczyk, Agatą Jakubowską, Łukaszem Gorczycą i in.).

The filmmakers Karin Michalski and Sabina Baumann talked with 15 protagonists about their observations in everyday life and their sometimes laborious reworkings:
What does it mean to interfere with public images of sexuality and whiteness, to invent a new language for more than two genders and to reverse devaluations referring to sexual identity at workplaces?

One year later, the participants meet in a former supermarket in Berlin, where they
constructthematized settings and create a meeting place. The interviews are projected at the venue and provoke discussions, performances and further cultural productions.

The protagonists: Artists, theorists, activists and musicians.
The venue: The market place of a supermarket.
Supported by: Rrriot Girl bands like Lesbian on Ecstasy, Scream Club, Heidi Mortenson and Rhythm King and her friends.

PASSING THE RAINBOW

What does it mean to appropriate characteristics considered masculine in order to find a job on the labour market and thus to get around the prohibition on female employment introduced under the Taliban regime? And why do women practice the profession of actress, which is generally deemed ‘dishonourable’ in Afghan society? Many of them have no professional training, and the frequent use of improvisation affords the performers wide creative scope. In addition to their roles, actresses must also justify their work both to their families and in other social contexts.

The film Passing the Rainbow dramatises scenes from the everyday lives of the performers and reflects on gender relations. This method opens up fictional action spaces whose expression surpasses the possibilities of the real world.
